CENTER
Alpine County Women’s Center provides access to domestic violence,
sexual assault, child abuse and basic needs services for residents of
Alpine County. With 1,159 residents, Alpine County is the smallest and
one of the most rural counties in California.
Alpine County Women’s Center services include:

Domestic Violence Shelter for up to 90 days

Legal advice
and / or representation for low-income survivors

24-hour crisis
hotline and crisis intervention counseling

Individual
counseling for adults and children

Child abuse
prevention education in local schools

Emergency
clothing, food and transportation

Advocacy /
accompaniment through legal and medical processes

Referrals to
other social service providers and local government agencies
